I do. I agree with what you have to say, but look closer at the pledge. It also says, "One nation" and we're not. At least we weren't untill 9-11-01. It took that tragedy to shake people into looking at the country we live in. Everyone can say vote, but what happened in Florida just shows me that the voting of the people is as much of a sham as the lies that roll of the tongues of the politicians. We bomb other countries just to take and send them money to rebuild. We have homeless here. Starving children and my God...think of the horrid conditions of a lot of the reservations out west. Elders freeze to death in their own homes! I think America should start taking care of her own and then maybe the children of today would start showing a little more pride in their country instead of wanting to leave it. I saw a bumper sticker once that said exactly how I feel... "Love my country, Fear the government". I love that I live here in the "land of the free"...but more and more those are just beginning to be words. I have four sons that range in age from 16 to 25...to them, this is the land of the oppressed. Thank you for letting me have my say.
